Package Design

Introduction

The "Miderr Pet Snacks" represent a cornerstone in pet care, specifically catering to the needs of young pet owners in China, predominantly post-2000s generations. These pet owners are the driving force behind the pet snack market, and understanding their preferences was crucial to our design approach.

In response to this demographic, we conducted a thorough market analysis, including 100 targeted samplings, to determine the exact consumer needs and desires. This research informed every aspect of our design, ensuring that the packaging not only resonated with the consumers' tastes but also maintained practical considerations such as shelf space efficiency.

We optimized the package size to avoid the perception of emptiness—a common concern with oversized packaging—while ensuring the product stood out on the shelves. The design strategy was multi-faceted, aiming to maintain the package's standing posture for visibility and to captivate consumers amidst a sea of competitors. This careful balance of form and function, coupled with a deep understanding of our core consumer base, resulted in a packaging that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also fulfills the practical requirements of retail display and consumer appeal.
